Capture

Before capturing: Select your report type (Incident or Bug) and optionally add an AI context hint to help the AI understand the issue better.

Video Recording

Record your screen to capture bugs in action:

  1. Click Record Video in the capture panel
  2. Select what to share — entire screen, application window, or browser tab
  3. A 5-second countdown begins before recording starts
  4. Record up to 30 seconds of footage (pause and resume as needed)
  5. Optionally enable audio capture for voice narration
  6. When finished, frames are automatically extracted for AI analysis
  7. Download the recording locally if needed

Picture-in-Picture: A floating preview window is available on Chrome, Edge, and Firefox. Safari does not support PiP for screen recordings.

Screenshot

Capture a single frame of the issue:

  1. Click Take Screenshot in the capture panel
  2. Select the screen or window to capture
  3. The image is automatically compressed for optimal AI processing

Mobile Capture

Two options for capturing issues on mobile devices:

Camera Capture

Use your device camera to photograph or record a physical screen showing the issue.

Gallery Upload

Upload existing screenshots or screen recordings from your device gallery.

Note: Automatic screen recording is not available on mobile browsers due to platform limitations. Use camera capture or gallery upload instead.

AI-Powered Reports

Automatic Context Detection

Tentomushi automatically gathers rich context from every capture:

  • Visual analysis — AI examines extracted frames to identify UI elements, error states, and anomalies
  • Environment info — browser type, screen resolution, and timestamp are captured automatically
  • Adaptive frame extraction — video recordings are intelligently sampled to capture the most relevant moments

AI Context Hints

Optionally provide a short text hint before capturing to help the AI understand the issue better. This guides the analysis toward the specific problem you're reporting.

Example hint: "The submit button doesn't work when I enter special characters"

Report Types

Choose the type that best matches the issue you're reporting:

Incident

For service disruptions, outages, and production issues that need immediate attention.

Bug

For software defects, UI issues, and edge cases found during normal development cycles.

Your default report type can be configured in your profile settings.

AI Report Generation

Reports are generated in a 3-step pipeline:

1

Frame Extraction

Key frames are extracted from your video or screenshot for analysis.

2

Visual Analysis

AI examines each frame to identify UI elements, errors, and context clues.

3

Report Generation

A comprehensive report is assembled with title, description, steps to reproduce, and environment info.

You can regenerate the report at any time and edit it before submitting.

Automatic Translation

Write your context hints in any language — Tentomushi detects the source language and translates the generated report to your configured target language.

  • Technical terms, code snippets, and URLs are preserved during translation
  • Configure the target language per-integration in Integration Settings

FAQ

What browsers are supported?

Tentomushi works on Chrome, Firefox, Edge, and Safari. Screen recording requires the Screen Capture API, which is supported by all major desktop browsers. Safari has limited Picture-in-Picture support. For the best experience, we recommend Chrome or Firefox.

How long can recordings be?

Recordings can be up to 30 seconds long. For longer workflows, break them into multiple recordings — each one generates its own focused report.

Is my data secure?

Yes. All data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Tentomushi is GDPR compliant. For full details, see our Privacy Policy.

Can I use it on mobile?

Yes. On mobile devices you can use camera capture to photograph or record a physical screen, or upload existing screenshots and recordings from your gallery. Automatic screen recording is not available on mobile browsers.

What integrations are available?

Tentomushi currently integrates with Jira, Linear, monday.com, and ClickUp. More integrations are coming soon.

How does AI analysis work?

Computer vision analyzes the captured frames to identify UI elements, error states, and visual anomalies. The AI then generates a comprehensive report with a title, description, steps to reproduce, and environment info. You can edit the report before submitting.

Can I disable AI processing?

Yes. You can toggle AI processing off for any integration in Integration Settings. When disabled, you'll get a standard template to fill in manually instead of an AI-generated report.

What's the difference between Incident and Bug?

Incidents are for production disruptions that need immediate attention — outages, service degradation, critical failures. Bugs are for software defects found during normal development cycles — UI glitches, edge cases, unexpected behavior. You can configure different destinations for each type in your integration settings.

How do team subscriptions work?

Team plans are a fixed monthly package with a user limit (Blue Team up to 6, Green Team up to 20). The team owner manages billing, and admins can invite new members. All team members share integrations and a unified workspace.

How do I get support?
